General Instruction

You can prolong the life of your jewelry by properly and regularly caring for it. There are some basic rules that you should follow in order for you to prolong the life of your precious and beautiful pieces of jewelry:

If possible, rings and other pieces of jewelry should not be worn while carrying out home and garden work, exercising or bathing (salt or chlorine water).
Jewelry should be removed before going to bed or taking a shower.
Perfume or hairspray can cause the jewelry to become dull and decrease its shine. We recommend putting perfume, hairspray or other cosmetics on first before putting on your jewelry.
Soap, cream and make-up residues can be removed using an ultrasonic device. The ultrasonic device should not be filled with abrasive cleaning agents. It is best to use water with a little bit of neutral cleaning agent.
Please use a jewelry cleaning cloth to polish slightly tarnished areas and remove dullness, bringing the jewelry back to its original shine. If the discoloration and dullness can't be removed with the jewelry cleaning cloth, we recommend using a jewelry bath solution.
Please carefully follow the instructions of the cleaning product you purchased for use. Best results are achieved when the item is first dipped, dried thoroughly and finally rubbed and polished with the jewelry cleaning cloth.
Jewelry with natural freshwater pearls and all gemstones are also not suitable for cleaning in the jewelry bath.
Only the silver parts can be cleaned using a silver cloth. Do not put natural freshwater pearls or natural gemstones in silver immersion baths or clean them using an ultrasonic device.

Avoid Contact with Chemicals
Keep pearls away from acids, household cleaners, sweat, and chlorine, which can dull their surface and damage the nacre.
Wear Them Often
Pearls benefit from natural skin oils that help maintain their shine—just be sure to wipe them gently afterward.
Clean with Care
Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe pearls after wearing. Avoid soap, ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh brushes. If deeper cleaning is needed, use only mild water and a soft cloth.
Store Properly
Store your pearls separately in a soft pouch or cloth-lined box to avoid scratches from harder gemstones or metals. Never store in airtight plastic—they need a bit of moisture to prevent drying out.
Restring Periodically
If worn often, have your pearl necklace or bracelet restrung annually with knots between each pearl to prevent rubbing and loss.
